Fare ye well young traveller. The west wind blows and the foreign shores call ye further more. Do not be swayed by poison ale and painted wenches, for they will smite you down against the rocky shore. In their stead, conquer thee snow capped peaks upon your board of fury,as thy are stout of heart and strong of will. Safe travels.

New snow in late May??...why not!

Blackcomb has almost completed it's transformation from a winter wonderland into a swimming pool! The googles and outerwear are gone, hello sunnies and denim!!...for the last week it's been like rolling around inside a sun soaked slurpee up there, the thought of getting some fresh lines in before May 24 was a million miles away....Untill last night!!! One last cold snap brought a sugar coating of snow and this morning Poss and I were greated with 5-10cm of the fun stuff! It is Poss' birthday today so I'm not sure if this was some sort of birthday wish miracle or what? but either way I'm sure it's a birthday he won't forget! Fresh lines in May?? who does that?...Poss and Mc that who!

Soooooooo SLACK!!!

So I've been really lazy lately and haven't posted anything...at all...I still need to finish my germania posts and the random bits and pieces that has been the time lapse since my last post. We'll as a re-cap I'm finished work now, riding out the end of the season and awaiting my departure once again to Deutchland, I haven't even finished my first German adventure blog!! Oh well. With the free time I have on my hands at the moment Ill try and send some of my energy into finishing what I've started...Although no guarantees! I'm not sure if I can fit it into my busy schedule of snowboarding, disc golf, BBQ's and couch naps but I'll try! The time between my last post and now has been a blur, not a whole heap as happened...i don't think?? If I thought real hard I'm sure alot of things have happened but for now lets just say it's been mellow...the season has drawn to end bringing on one of the shittest parts of the snow lifestyle, saying goodbye to friends. Over the last six months new people have become close friends and old friends have become closer, But as the snow melts so does the size of your crew. The people you've shared some of the best moments in your life are soon to be a fond memory or a photograph on the wall. No matter how many times the talk of meeting up in each others country of residence is brought up the likely hood of this actually happening is a long stretch. Don't get me wrong I would love to reunite with all the awesome people I've met over the last few seasons but living in a different hemisphere tends to be a point of conflict. This season I have probably met the best crew of people to date..everyone has brought something different to the table making it probably the best season I've done, along with epic snowfall. So maybe this time will be different? maybe everyone will put that little bit more effort in to staying in contact, myself included. So for now farewell mountains, snowboarding and fellow fiends of winter! It's been a slice to say the least, thanks to everyone for the good times and untill we meet again the memories and photographs on the wall will have to do!
CHI BRLAAA BRLAAA YEEEEAAAAAHHHH CHI!
